I made it through the first week of Insanity, and today I started week 2. I'll admit it. I really enjoyed the weekend. Real food. A few beers. Even sneaked in a band practice last night. But reality hit hard today. My body wasn't ready to return to Insanity quite yet, but I did anyway. Today it was "Cardio Power and Resistance". I burned 692 calories and my heart rate never got above 170. Not sure if I'm just improving or I didn't push hard enough, but it certainly felt hard enough!
I did do a weigh in Sunday morning. I'll also admit weighing myself last Friday, then again this morning. Wow does my weight fluctuate. Friday morning, I was down 11 pounds from my starting weight. This morning, I was down 10. But for whatever reason, I was only down 5 pounds Sunday morning, so that's my official number as far as I'm concerned.
Not much else going on so I'll keep today brief. Only 55 days to go!
